First students will start studying next academic year.
St. Petersburg’s Herzen Pedagogical University is to open a branch in Uzbekistan. Sergey Bogdanov, the rector of the University, has signed an agreement with his colleagues from Tashkent.
A large delegation came to St. Petersburg from Uzbekistan to study the curriculum and get to know the professors and teachers of the Herzen University.
The Tashkent branch of the Herzen University is to enroll first students at the start of the next academic year in September 2020. It will offer training programs for would-be primary school and special education teachers, psychologists, etc.
The graduates of the Tashkent branch will get diplomas of the Herzen State University.
